1. General provisions.

The aim of this document is to introduce users to cookie files and rules for their use in the framework of the internet service optykwypych.pl, from herein referred to as SERVICE.

2. Cookie files.

Cookie files are computer data stored on the end user’s device (for example: computers, tablets, smart phones, etc…) which improve and facilitate the use of a particular service’s resources.  Cookie files contain data which is not limited to the following: the name of the website from which they originated and the time which they were stored on the end user’s device.  Most cookies have a unique i.d. number.

3. Using cookie files on websites.

Webmasters use cookie files for:

  • Adjusting web content to individual user preferences and optimizing the usage of previously visited websites, in particular, through end user device recognition and correcting for optimal page viewing.
  • Creating statistics, which serve to understand the way in which users take advantage of websites, allowing the continued improvement of structure and content.
  • Logging user sessions, thanks to which the user doesn’t have to repeatedly write their login and password on every subpage.

4. Cookie files utilized in the SERVICE’s framework.

The SERVICE’s framework takes advantage of the following types of cookie files:

  • session, which are temporary in nature and stored on the end user’s device up to the point of logging out from the SERVICE, leaving the website or switching off the internet browser;
  • persistent, which are stored on the end user’s device for a predetermined time period specified in the parameters or up to the point that it is manually removed by the user;
  • necessary, which allow use of services and access to the SERVICE’s data;

5. Switching off cookie files.

The majority of popular web browsers allow the implicit saving and storage of cookie files on end user’s devices.  Users of the SERVICE who don’t want to use cookie files can change the settings regarding those files in order to block automatic support for cookie files in the software settings, or demand information about them every time they are posted on the end user’s device.

Attention!
Failure to properly adjust the web browser settings is equivalent to accepting cookie files in the SERVICE’s  framework.

6. Consequences of switching off cookie files.

Switching off cookie files doesn’t affect the possibility to read or browse the SERVICE’s content.  It may, however, lead to substandard operation of the SERVICE, or limit access to particular resources provided in the SERVICE’s framework.

7. Entities eligible for using cookie files provided in the SERVICE’s framework.

Placed on an end user’s device, cookie files can be used by advertisers and partners, as well as research companies who cooperate with the SERVICE operator.
